Gaindakot. Gaindakot English School in East Nawalparasi has become the best school in Gaindakot municipality. Gaindakot English School has been placed in the “A” category according to the classification based on the evaluation of 20 institutional schools conducted by the Education Section of the Gaindakot Municipality.
According to Dr. Balkrishna Chapagain, the Head of Education, Youth and Sports Section of Gaindakot Municipality, Gaindakot English School has proved itself to be the excellent school by achieving “A” grade in Gaindakot Municipality.
The team from Education Section of Gaindakot Municipality along with various experts visited every school and did a deep study about the internal conditions of schools. The study has been based on more than 90 indicators, where only Gaindakot English School has managed to meet them and has been placed in “A” category.
The municipality has specified that poor “D” grade be assigned to those who score less than 40 percent, average “C” grade to those whose score is from 40 to 70 percent, medium “B” grade to those with scores from 70 to 90 percent and excellent school “A” to those whose score is 90 percent and above.
According to the education Section of the municipality, indicators such as physical structure of the school, services provided by the school, satisfaction of stakeholders, qualifications of teachers, gender ratio, efficiency in the use of information technology, community participation, children’s interest in education, and the results obtained by the school in the past 3 years have been considered as the basis of evaluation.
According to the classification made by the municipality, Oxford Secondary School, Saraswati Niketan English Boarding School, Continental English Boarding School, Gaindakot Namuna English Boarding School, Shining English Boarding School, Vijay Samudayik Shiksha Sadan, Small Heart Academy, Mukundsen English Boarding School, Suryodaya Vidya Mandir and Balbikas English Boarding are placed in “B” category.
Similarly, Saraswati Balshiksha Sadan, Shishu Niketan School, Evergreen Academy, Nirmal Millennium English Boarding School, Trimurti Vidya Mandir, Gyankunj English Boarding School, Kids Home Academy, Amar English Boarding School and Unique English Boarding School are graded as “C”. None of the schools in the Municipality fall in “D” category.
